Monitoring of the pilot plant operation in 2016

After completing the final settings of electrolytic cells and remote control of the pilot plant a regular monitoring of the pilot plant operation has started 2016. We have obtained the first results of the efficiency of removal of drug residues from wastewater.

Pilot plant constructed

The LIFE PharmDegrade pilot plant has been installed at the existing wastewater treatment plant in Golnik, Slovenia. The construction is made in two aboveground containers with additional small biological wastewater treatment plant and tertiary system with electrolytic cells as a final treatment step. Completed laboratory experiments and the development of electrolytic cells

We have completed with the laboratory scale experiments within the project on the use of electrolytic cells for the degradation of drug (pharmaceuticals) residues in water.
